A lot more relaxed than here 
. Been to Spain and France, both sets of cops don't bat an eyelid 
. In fact if you didn't ride with a dark visor, you probably wouldn't get too far as the sun's glare is literally blinding some times 
. Go for it, plus if you need a spare they are a lot cheaper than what you pay for one in the UK. Even allowing for all the offshore outlets willing to sell you one minus the VAT.
