screens

Postby ROVERT57 » Mon Feb 20, 2006 9:29 pm

Thinking of getting a screen for touring and i have seen one which has what looks like a spoiler near the top edge to deflect the wind which is adjustable , anyone know who makes them and if some one has one what is their oppinion of them.

Its an MRA vario screen.

Only available in Smoke colour, but supposed to be very good for touring (if a bit on the ugly side-matter of opinion)

1200Pete used to reckon that with a set of bar risers & a vario screen it was like riding a Pan with blackie power.

Best wishes,

Rolfy

I've just posted about these on the discount section. Where can I get one of these screens? I see you have also mentioned bar risers. After looking at my 'Bird, I have noticed there is about 1 cm of fork that I could raise the bars up on. This would help me a little bit as I find that there is a lot of weight on my wrists around town and some pain between my shoulder blades. I assume that you can get hold of a special kit that will raise the bars instead of doing this. How much do they raise the bars, how much are they and where do you get them from?

I've been given a potted version from Johns side of the story. I've been in enough clubs to know what happens and that these politics don't interest me. As the saying goes, there are three sides to every tale. Yours, mine and the truth.
