No, but I avoid putting wallet/credit cards in it or near it... magnet can fry the strip. Don't know about phones and other electronics.

Electronics shouldn't be affected. I remember back in the age of floppy disks, my Mac users group did a test of its susceptibility to magnetic fields.

We stuck four floppy disks to a refrigerator using magnets for a few days.

No data was affected. In fact, we actually dragged the magnets across one of the disks in random direction to try to make it fail; no problems.

Just for the heck of it, though, I'm going to put an iPod into a magnetic tank bag I have sitting around the house. We shall see what happens.

Returning to the iPod after several hours, I'm happy to say it's working fine. I'm now going to try folding one of the magnetics bags flaps in on itself with the iPod in between.

And the result of this scientific, randomised, double blind, placebo, controlled study?

Not really. It's just that all the music that's on it is also on my computer. Just like liquor, backups give you confidence.

UPDATE: After an overnight in the folds with magnets on either side, it's fine.

Not a dentist (wife is dentist); SPF 0 is practice manager.

Trust me, no money in pulling teeth. 40 minutes of room time for a $180 fee just isn't a money maker. :-)
