VTEC BARS Norm Edwards

I followed the instructions (found elsewhere on this site) posted by John Glickman and Norm Edwards on how to mount the VTEC bars on my '03 XX. The hydraulic line on the left (clutch) side appears to be pretty tight. Especially when the front wheel is turned to the stops either way. I want to ask if anyone else has experienced this problem and if there is a fix. I don't think the line is in danger presently, but it will wear on the bolt fixing the left fork. Perhaps I didn't do the switch properly.
Any help will be appreciated. If Norm or john are available I would ask them directly... Please.
