I ride a 2001 Blackbird, I recently purchased a Powerbronze double bubble screen to go touring on the continent. I couldn't wait to take it off when I got home and put my original one back on. The bike felt unstable at high speed especially when the wind speed was high. My Bird has now returned to its former self a good deal better for the return of the original screen.

In addition to this I found that my head was being knocked from side to side in the slipsteam of the Powerbronze screen. I made the mistake of fitting the new screen just before I set off abroad, I never fully tested it.

In conclusion I feel that i've wasted Â£50 that could have gone towards a touring Scotoiler or something else for my Bird

as per above thread, it can depend on so many factors. i think mine is great but its shape is so different, its a try it an test it job :-?

not exactly like trying on a leather jacket though, is it? Order online (or buy at shop), remove original screen, put in new one, go for long enough ride then decide if you want it or not? Very likely. Stick with the original and if you want wind protection get a Wing or a car you buncha poofs! :evil)
