4. Why did you choose the Honda Blackbird?
My son bought a very pretty Thundercat which made my old FJ look very old and tatty
so I had to upstage him. Boy did it work! (The little sod is now looking at a ZZR14)

I quite liked mine - although the vibes through the bars would make me hands go numb after about fifty miles!

Honda CBR600F (Still have it)

4. Why did you choose the Honda Blackbird?
I really liked my CBR600F but always felt a little compressed on it and I was getting bored of revving the nuts off it all the time to get anywhere. Blackbird seemed an obvious progression. It won due to many things but with it being used for commuting I need it to be reliable. It's also stored under a cover overnight so it needs to be of good quality and not turn brown just coz of a bit of rain etc. My commute includes mainly motorway and dual carriage way and the 'bird laps it up.

Never had a problem with vibes----------- mainly because it never ran for fifty consecutive miles

The exup was getting a bit uncomfortable so i got the b/bird i just had to have one it's a superb bike does everything good and is like sitting on a sofa compared to the exup, going to keep this one....

Good reputation, my best friend has one, needed something a little quicker and sportier but wanted to tour.
I am a Honda fan - bikes, cars, lawnmower, all super reliable and well made.
Great bike - really fun to ride.

4Seemed like a nice bike, got fed up with unwieldy hight of Tiger and buffeting at speed.Current impression is that the 'bird sorts all those issues and has better brakes. And it looks good!

Bought the bike in March this year used from Brackley Yamaha. I bought it without even seeing it because I'd heard so much about the power and stability. I chose it because I wanted a bike to do big motorway miles to and from work (70 each way) that is comfortable, reliable and definately not a boring tourer! Before I had a 2009 BMW F800 ST which was ok, but I found lacked power and was actually hard work on motorways because you sat up in the wind.

4) I was looking to get back into biking and a friend of mine runs a business buying bikes from the public and selling on to the trade for the last 35 years. I explained what I wanted from a bike and what is the best bike to buy today. He said Blackbird without hesitation. Although he did comment that after 20 years off bikes I should go for something smaller as bikes have come on a long way and the average 750 would leave my old xs11 in the dust in every area. But I wanted the best and got it. No regrets.
