used from lloyds of carlisle - seen on website and he brought it down in the back of van, as perfect as it was in pictures so i was very very happy
previous bikes were yam fs1e ( oh i wish i had kept it - doh), suzuki gsx600f teapot, still got n love
chose blackbird coz big, black, fast, missus on back, fast, black, big etc

* Wanted something more comfortable and easier to pack for long distance riding than my ZX9-R. Chose between the BB and Suzuki Hayabusa, but found the Blackbird to be the best for my intended purposes.

Brilliant bike to ride is the Falco and muchly underrated. Mille like performance, engine's a dream and the handling sublime. How it never caught on more as a weekend fun machine is beyond me. I think Prilly undersold it personally, in favour of the equally magnificent Prillymillie

very second hand with chequered service history 1998 Carb model but low mileage at 32K

have had a KTM SMT, a Suzuki Burgman, a Honda Silverwing, and a Suzuki Intruder C1800R

Why:- Need for speed, fed up with Poor Fuelling and town handling of Large Twin, so tried and bought 'Bird

Am a senior citizen with a late mid life crisis who cannot afford a Nissan GTR

Sold my old 1997 drag bird to fund, new bird will also see 1/4 mile after fettling. Also have a R1200GS, R100RS & a KLX650R.

Why - Fast, reliable, comfy, easy to fix. Annoys modern bikes at the 1/4 mile.
