Swansea Valley. Brecon Beacons right on the doorstep.

It's almost rude not to own a bike with the great roads we have round here :thumbsup)

Hmmm nice. Pity it's all only north of you. Up here we're surrounded by it and in the middle of it.

I take it you call at the caff in Llandovery then?

Keep your eye on the Rideout Section. We'll get you a bit further afield than the Beacons. :ride)

Well here she is.

Very cautious 40 mile ride back from dealers. First time with such a powerful bike and temp around freezing.

What an absolute missile. :thumbsup) Very comfy too. Sure makes overtakes easier/safer.

That blue one looked nice as well (cheaper too) but I was influenced by the having the full Givi set up on the black one.

Must be getting old. :)

Newtown to Llandod, is a nice road either way. If coming south you can always drop from Llandod to Llandovery, can't remember the name of the road but that's a good un as well.

Hi mate, I've recently purchased a Blackbird aswell in blue, 99 fuel infected model. Glad to see another rider fronm S.Wales. I live in Quakers Yard, Treharris. We'll have to get together with the other Welsh contingent and take our Birds for a blast. I've had them all mate, and this bike is absolutely fanfastic. I just can't keep off it. Costing me a fortune in fuel ! Best bike i've ever had, and I'll be around this place for a very long time. Welcome from another newbie and good luck. :thumbsup)
