My Bird's 50 !....

Postby Stewie » Sun Aug 16, 2015 12:40 pm

...50000miles that is, so just run in by comparison to some of them out there.

Hi all, my name is Stewie same a my user name, I like to keep things simple so not to confuse folk, mainly me duh , I'm based in West Sussex and I'm on my second Bird it's a MK2 I only sold the first one when looking for a wing rack system for it I brought the rack and the bike came with it
I do a fair bit of Photo tagging or Geo tagging depending on what forum your on, so not short of Pic's of the Bird.
This is my Blackbird. I can't post the pic due to the system not being able to determine the image size, so here a link if you like.

I came across the site after looking for info on the Stater as my has decided to melt itself, but that's another thread, just thought I would say hi and thanks as the info that I got from your site was very helpful.
I hope to meet up soon always up for a ride-out

Welcome Stewie, it's now a Yamaha TDM site, so good luck with finding any bird content. And they're nearly all northern apart from Simmo. Enjoy :thumbsup)

Take no notice Stewie, the man's a James Hunt. Yes, a few have second bikes, but the Bird is still everyone's favourite. xx

Thanks for the welcomes :thumbsup) I've got a few bikes as well but most for the muddy stuff, the blackbird is the only full on road bike I've got. Been out today on the twisties after fitting a new stator, I will never get rid of the Bird as I don't want to be the person that come up to you in the bikers cafe and say '' I used to have one of them, always regret selling it....''
