Hello all.
Just become a BB owner so thought I'd do the decent thing and introduce myself. First name Martin, living in Shrewsbury UK. and a domestic appliance engineer for a living.
Not had much chance to try the bird out properly, but first impressions leave me in no doubt this is the only bike you would ever need.
It is a '57 plate in black ( which I understand may not be the fastest colour, but in my experience black is the most reliable colour to have lol )

Hiya Martin and welcome to Ixxra . A '57 plate in black eh......what more could one possibly need eh...?

We are but a small band of Bird owners here these days...a lot of our shallower and fickle Members have "progressed lol " onto other steeds, some onto VFR 1200s. They wont ever admit it but I know they are quietly regretting that decision, .....well they would wouldnt they cos as you say...the Bird does it all in spades full.

Anyway, make yourself at home and any questions just ask.....There are still a few experts lurking who will help out.

:thumbsup)

Thank you both. It's the wrong time of year to take ownership of a new bike, so I will have to content myself by just knowing that it is there, on my drive........ Just waiting for me!
No questions stand out in my mind yet, other than what do they prefer to drink? Mr. Haynes says 91RON minimum so would you say standard 95 unleaded or the super unleaded?
Cheers.
