Just found out off BIRD, that our good friend Alan Sims passed away last night after his long, brave fight agains cancer...

I am sure some of you off IXXRA will remember Simzie from his antics with the Midland Massiff (Power Ranger !!!)

Our thoughts and Prayers go out to Bridget & their family on this saddest of days...

RIP alan...

As with many others- I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Simzie either. Our thoughts are with his family and friends though.

R.I.P Alan I never met him but that he sounds like a great guy, the world and Ixxra will certainly be and emptier place without him.

As a newby to the Ixxra I obviously did not know the guy but it seems that he was one of the fraternities greats so he will no doubt be sorely missed and as Speedy pointed out it is my loss not to have met with him.
Thoughts and best wishes go to his family.
