Mapsource

I'm having trouble loading the mapsource Cd's into my PC.
it is an older version (7) which came with my streetpilot 111.
every time i load the Cd's (3 in all) it gets to the part where it asks for the unlock code and then it tells me there is a problem with the unlock registry.
i try to run mapsource and it tells me there is an error (1st boot error).
contacted garmin who told me to remove all their software and start again. i have done this 3 times and it is still the same.
anyone got any ideas?

Ring them back iain..They've been helpful to me in the past ( but NOT to Shlink )

How did you remove all Garmin software from your computer? There might still be some hidden files or registry entries and uninstallation may not have been complete. Does the Mapsource disc come with an uninstallation/removal option? Good luck sorting it, Garmin are a load of useless bastids, eh Tim?

they told me to remove it through regedit and c drive and add/remove programs etc so i think all have been deleted.
I'll get onto them again.
