Tidy price and everything he needs to get started other than the ram mount.

Can't remember what akuji has just got...the latest Zumo and that looks shit hot- Options on the ones we have like "fastest route" and "shortest distance" have now had an addition to the one ajerkoff has got and that's "bendy roads" I kid you not. Takes a lot of fookin about away from Mapsource ( soon to die) and Basecamp. Plot a destination and ask for bendy roads and that's it, job's a coconut, ride and enjoy. Plenty of other new facilities on "atchoo's" garmin. I'm sure he'll be along to explain soon...Daz?...Da.az? Wohooo, Dazzzzzzz, Cooont, ya there?

I'm here ya welsh coont  the one I have is the zumo 590lm which is a load of crap really. I've heard them bmw Motorrad ones are quite good tho :wink) :thumbsup)

The zumo does have a curvy road setting and it's quite good. Also has a media player which links direct to my phone and plays everything via Bluetooth. I've got the app too which syncs traffic to the nav too. Pretty good but bettered by a Motorrad one  :thumbsup)

Depends what you want to spend John, that 660 is a very very good price and has all you need. Easy to make your own mount as well so theres no need to
buy a ram mount if you dont want... The new 590LM are the bells and whistles, better mp3 player and Iphone compatabillity but is that worth £225 more than that 660?? nope not for me.. you can get a sena headset with £100 change for that money mate

Dazs BMW one will do the job tho, and you can have my other bluetooth headset for £20 if you want to save some money Assuming it has bluetooth ...

Notice how no one has mentioned the TomTom ??? nuff said

I paid £360 for my zumo 660 and thought I had a good deal ... Its a bummer when you can get the new Nuvi car one for about £70 tho.
stick it in a bag sounds easy but you have no bike power and no voice and its alot of hassle and not waterproof.(Think Wales :shock) ) A fair few folks have tried it and ended up with a bike specific one in the end mate..

Get Jono one while you at it :thumbsup)

I dunno , but Google is ya friend until someone pops in who knows.

There's plenty that do the business on bike and in car, but with a nice shiney bike like yours I wouldn't fook about, I'd slap a 660 on it. OK, Akuji's is the latest technological device but at a price. 550 or 660 will be more than adequate for you, the 660 being an improvement and natural progression from the 550.

Stop procrastinating and grab that link cos that's as good as it gets at the moment if you ask me.

:thumbsup)

With Tom-Tim there's no Mapsource/Basecamp programme for you to sit at home and dream and plan and make up routes for your delight and delectation, amongst other things that them that knows better will be along to tell you about.

Although, that T.Y.R.E software that Simmo is using, apparently allows you to plan routes etc and upload to ya Tom-Tom...........so I'm told.

Now stop fookin about and go get that 660 from the link. You wont be sorry.

Don't forget the 590 has a trans reflective screen, which in layman's terms means you can see the fookin thing

The 590LM looks a decent bit of kit based on the Garmin write-up - but as they're the ones selling it then I'll take onboard comments from a real user any day :D

The 660LM is also very good according to the Garmin write-ups, but in reality it's a crock of shite - and I sincerely believe it's down to the very poor mapping software
