In a nutshell, NO :roll)

However, I am hopeful of a solution shortly :thumbsup)

What prevented Barry Sheene from winning the 1975 World Championship? Was it-

a) A blown reg/rec

b) A blown reg/rec

c) A blown reg/rec

Locking P.M's would give the game away wouldn't it and then you'd suss that any P.M. with a subject heading is readable .

Thanks from a new member!

Very simple and logical process (even for a electro-phobe!), and I'll give these tests a go.

My issue is a discharging battery when being caught in stop-start traffic for a period of time (worse at night, with headlights on). I've read that the stator does not put out much voltage at tickover / low revs which may explain why the bettery is having to meet the demands of the headlights / fan / heated grips etc. I always leave the bike on charge when not riding, and it's never fully charged when I come back from a ride, even a long one.

Assuming the stator can't keep up, if I rode long enough in slow traffic, would the battery run down far enough for a loss of spark at the plugs?

Regards,

Max.
