FYI, One of my front fork seals started leaking and instead of having to remove and rebuild the forks I found a tool called "fork buddy"
A thin rigid flexible piece of plastic with a hook at the end. Videos of it on U tube. Was able to remove the piece of grit causing my seal to leak fairly easily.
Very happy with the result, just posting in case it is of help for someone else
Good luck

Had the same problem on my Tiger over the weekend but being a tight old twat I just cut a piece of plastic milk bottle to the same shape as a Fork Buddy.
Job done
Mind you the wife was pissed off as I had to empty the 6 pints of milk down the drain.
