Straight or bent bars.

Hi peeps,
I've found some vtec bars on fleabay.
A set of straight bars for £130.00.
A set of slightly bent bars for £74.00.
I don't mind paying for the straight ones, but the bent ones, at that price, are very tempting.

So, can anyone advise me , what are the bars made of ?
Are they steel or aluminium, and could I straighten them, (with some heat applied). ?
Has anyone had to straighten handlebars?
If so, how'd it go ?

Hi Len. Personal choice maybe, but me, I wouldn't buy bent bars...bent from what?! Noooo, more I think about it the more I shudder. I'm sure someone knowledgeable may come along and say no problem, bend them back, strong as owt etc, but nah, I'd pass on the bent ones. (Thats just me though.)

Looks as if they've bent during a crash.
They each look like a banana.
Shouldn't take much to straighten them.
