Rear brake pedal travel

Postby Sircular » Sat Sep 11, 2021 1:20 am

Hi peeps.
Got a problem regarding the rear brake on my bird.
Bled the full system numerous times. Can't cure it.
Initially, after bleeding,( following the guide from my Haynes manual) the brake bites first press, great.
Leave for about 15 seconds, & it takes two presses to bite. Nearly failed the MOT because of this.
I'm not happy about this !!
Has anyone else had this problem ?
If so, please, please let me know how to cure it.
Thanks, kind regards, Len.

It's ok folks,
Borrowed neighbors vacuum bleeder, & using about a litre of brake fluid, all done & working as it should.
