Dargo or bust!

G'day Trendsetters...

Last weekend our bike club took a bit of a trip to Dargo, up in the high plains. About 800kms return, some of the roads you travel just have to be seen to be believed! For those who don't know (or care) where it is, here we go:

We took off Saturday morning at 9.00am...pi$$in down rain

By the time we got to Yarra Junction, rain had stopped and we now had 20 bikes (23 bodies)

Stopped at the Red Parrot Cafe in Noojee

and at Heyfield for juice..

we got to Dargo about 4pm and attacked the local stocks of beer...

The next morning, all mustered for parade

some worse for wear (mwah included)..but all had a great ride home

The only casualties being a Wallaby and a Kookaburra we cleaned up on the Saturday. And a near miss on a Lyrebird :)

:clap: :clap: :clap: ...nice one Budgie......sounds a good trip...pity about the rain ...it happens to us all!!. How many of you went then? I particularly like the wriggly tin shed you call a Hotel...we usually reserve places like that for our sheep friends :D :D .

Nice to see pics of sunny days too... :banghead) :banghead) :bigcry:
