Only 4 days to go before we leave on our weeks trip to Germany and Poland [weather permitting for Poland].

Have a safe trip mate...

While in Berlin, dont forget to take in the Berlin museum of the erotique... Certainly worth a visit...Also, the Sony & Chrysler buildings are fabulous... What a city :clap:

As for Hamburg... Stay at the Ibis hotel on the Reeperbahn... Great fun if you & the missus are not prim & proper...But again, a beautiful city.

safe journey, we'll be there in August/Setember for the Blackbird treffen up by the black sea coast.

Not taking the talking baggage on this one. :) and staying with friends in all places, in Hamburg just of the Reeperbahn, got to travel down it on the way to stop off.

Hours are just drifting slowly past....... a few more hours left to go....

What Route you taking! I looked into going to Poland, mebbe next year now as i have already planned this years. :wink)

We are taking the ferry from Harwich to Hoek van Holland, upto Hamburg for 2 nite stop, over to Berlin on Monday, Wednesday up into Poland along the Bering sea and back, then back to Berlin, back to Hamburg Friday.

On the Saturday we will be calling in at Arnhem to do the Military museum which is well worth a looksee if you have time which we do, then ferry back Sat nite back to blighty.

Bout 1500 miles in total.

Go on ave a great time, spent 12 years in germany, in the forces loved it, seen most of it and it is still the cleanest place on the planet lol, enjoy and dont forget loads of photos, cos we wanna see em when ya get back so we can drool, lol

Luckily we did get a nice tan on the 2 days we had that nice warm glow from above. :D

Piccies loaded into photobucket so should start a new thread with piccies and write up of events. :|
