As there is so much to get through and not to make the post tooooo big I shall endeavour to do it in stages, adds to the anticipation......
Part 1 the beggining......
Saturday 5th May arrived , soft luggage all loaded onto the
Mileage checked: 21258, oil checked: full, re-fuelled ready for the off.
Left at 05:00 o'clock Sat morning down to Harwich to catch the ferry, weather overcast/sunny.

We had to strap our bikes down in the freight area:
We had 'Mr Happy' as our loader, not happy with bikes loading, what a nawker he was
Arrived Hoek van Holland and unloaded by 18:00 o'clock and on the road, 330 miles of hard pushing to get to Hamburg.
Arrived at our destination 23:00 o'clock , parked the bikes in underground carpark, arrived at accomodation [friend of Netman] and were handed some beers, followed by some more beer then some german home made frikadela's.
This was most , oh, the weather was very good, overcast and sunny and quite warm.
A well earned sleep followed.
Sunday arose, sun was out [t-shirt weather] used public transport including water taxi's to get around. Here are a few piccies:

There is a lift in the remains, so we had to go up the 75 metres, and here is a view of the Rasthaus in Hamburg from the tower:
