Well the E9 from Foix to Pas De La Case is
bend after bend after... well you get the picture.
After a short visit to Andorra, just to say it had been done, we took the 8km tunnel from Urus (Spain) to Baga before stopping for tea at Berga.
Berga is a small town with a centre parade and cafes and bars either side, a really lovely place, so much so I didn't take a picture
Spend a little too much time here and ended up having to push it to find a campsite, however we found a site at Stiges on the coast south of Barcelona. 9 Euros for the night but the ground was so hard we had to string the tents between the bikes, trees and a nearby caravan
The next day was set to be an easy day, taking the N240 down the coast to Salou for breakfast and continuing on the 240 to El Puerto where we had prebooked a night at the Hotel Vent de Mar via Hotelpedia. This was £32 to book and ended up being a 4* hotel close to the busy and happening beach. Almost a sea view from the room too.
The reason for the stop here was to meet the family at Valencia Airport the next day. Up and away at 9.30 we arrived to meet the family at 10am their flight was early.
There followed a week with the family nr Alicante before the push South.....
