We're back, i bet you missed us eh :wink)

Actually we got back a day early as due to poor weather up near Andermatt we didn't do the Grimsel, Furka or Oberalp passes, so decided to save these for next time as a few lovely passes have been ticked off the bagging list with the Dolomites and Alps being the main riding areas. We didn't go to venice as they were suffering with over 35 degrees which is like riding with a hairdryer blasting you in the face.

Bagging list

Passo Lavaze
Penser Joch
Passo Redebus
Passo Nigra
Passo Costalunga
Passo Sella (twice)
Passo Pordoi
Passo Giau
Gross Glockner
Gerlos Alpinestrasse

Not forgetting the Black Forest B500 which we did 3 times :ride) :ride)

Took nearly 500 pictures and covered almost 3000 miles. We also visited the JungFrauJoch Top of Europe at the summit of the Eiger, by feck it was cold up there whilst having a snowball fight

Pics to follow.........maybe :wink)

So we started off on the chunnel........

Forum wont let you host them from your usual Cloud, google drive etc etc pal, unless you embed them but its a ball ache at best...

Unless you go back in time tens years and put them on the painfully slow photo fukit :banghead) :banghead)

Tim will be along in a minute to tell you how to do it

I've got them all in my photobucket but it won't even let me post the thumbnail link :banghead) :banghead)

seems the only way to get them on is to resize and upload direct from computer..........this may take a while :roll)

continued.....

The first day we just used to cross France and spent the first night in Saarbrucken just over the German border. The next day we visited the Sinsheim museum. This place is vast, with everything from cars,bikes,F1 cars, military vehicles, planes, boats and special one offs, it took most of the day to get round it all. They have an air France concord with stairs to go up inside.

All these pics are from the first part of the first hall and they are not all the pics of all the vehicles that are there, as seen in the plane pic you can see the steam engine near the door. As i said this place is absolutely huge and a few visits will be required to do it justice.

After the Sinsheim we went to Stuttgart and visited the Porsche and Mercedes museums, The Porsche pics are on my phone as i left the camera in the top box :banghead) and well you all know what Mercedes look like so i'll skip forward to the B500.

However we didn't take any pics of the actual B500 itself as we were too busy riding it - 3 times - In my view the first part of the B500 is not all it's cracked up to be as there are numerous slow speed limited sections and tight corners. However the second half after Mummelsee is a whole different story as it's NSL all the way with gorgeous sweeping curves so we did this half 3 times and the first half just the once which meant having a cuppa at mummelsee twice  :ride)

Then it was onwards to Austria where we spent the night in Arzl as there was a wee bridge i wanted to look at called the Benni Raich. It's the highest pedestrian bridge in europe and it used for Bungy Jumping.........they can fooking keep that for a lark :sick)
