Shouldnt be too much of a problem AJ, we always manage to drop a few off, even when were not employing the system, in fact we have been known to drop a few off before we even met up with the fookers. :banghead) :banghead)

Well i had to bale out early to tend to my domestic duties, got home at twenty to nine, stiff as a board and dog knackered, so the domestic duties went out the window anyway. But a great time was had non the less, gps was showing 374 miles on the trip.

Got 195 miles out of a tank of juice on the way back, which is pretty good i think, hopefully theres enough left in the tank to get me to the garage.

.. well we all met up.. where we should have done... and on time
met the BIRD riders too...
missed the rain clouds.... did some off roading beyond lake verney (English spelling fer timtvat)

then it happened......tallybling hotel.. service with a smile..as long as you are prepared to wait for it.... and wait for it :P

Harlech castle.... old age cramp grabbed my thigh just as i was about to take a 60degree
incline, narrow left hander.... closest to an off i think we had all day :-? :P ... this despite the attempts of the
local outward bound people vans (occupying both lanes a a county lane) boxing us all in behind them as they
obviously thought they were mobile chicanes to oncoming traffic too...despite being full of kids :P :-? :P :banghead)

rest of the day was hassle free... nobody got lost, pace was OK..
so who's got the pics then...
couldn't find my camera so am relying on you lot fer copies... please e-mail...full size... mochas gracious :wink)

above all… everyone made the day the fun event it was.. great company…
some ace pisstaking :D

T'were a top day out, that's fer sure :thumbsup) . Few pics of the scenery below to give some flavour, before that though- it was a pleasure to meet Hugh, Stealth, Chuckle Bunny, AJ's sis and all concerned with the day and Kay sends her best- she loved it too :D Nice planning Andy and much appreciated :wink)

By the way - yer can tell the truth now- the only cramp you ever had affected yer hand and was nowt to do with yer thigh :D That left hander at Harlech........ya thought it was a 2nd gear pull dintcha....come on, admit it......yer did dintcha.....eh......eh rotfl rotfl

... So then- Verney Lake- gooooorgeous boyo

Image

...away from Verney and dirt bikin up a one hoss gravel track...

Image

...brings ya down to the Till-ys-Bust Hotel, the view from there is sorta like...

Image

Breathtakin :notworthy) From there to Harlech castle and on through Bedgelert- about 5 miles up the hill- time for a fag and a scive..

Image

and finally (coz I've skipped a bloody lot!!), this is the A493 from Denbigh to Queensferry when Les, Kay and I were off 'ome..

Image

Set off at 6.20am- got home 10.30 pm and enjoyed every fookin minute. Hope to meet all of ya for a Northern Bimble (Devils-Hartside-Hawes) soon and tek care in the meantime :wink)
