If you feel inadequate go see a councilor :ride)
But set your screen size at 1024 x 768 unless you need it more for art work
also use the F11 key for full screen.

rGotta say, I agreed with ya matey. No point in posting pics ya can't actually see properly. A 'team pic' or a nice long multi bike shot at that size would be a blurr. Have to say though- that sorts it fer me  Best o' both worlds :D .

Just one thing (and probly already dealt with) but does the base image size of 2000x1000 also apply to 1000x2000 images, given that they're the same size (capacity wise) anyway :-? If not, is there a prob with making it that way :-?

cordin te the bobbly... it's a width issue duh .. so he's set the perameters at 640x640 to allow either portrait or landscape to occupy up to the 640 pixel size..

but tit does need extending to 800 to use the full potential of the available forum width and the picture content...

lol

don't know why yours has come out smaller than 640 laxxi :-? :-? :-? ...
unless you save it on yer hard drive or uploded it to a web host at that size :shock) :roll) :-? :-?

Nip back up to the piccy of Kay and the Babe- click on it and it comes out wider than the one you've posted. It's a thumbnail at 400x400 max, but click on it and there's some scope for size. The base (larger) pic is just a sample I pulled up off the hard drive so I have a clue what a 2000x1000 image actually looks like. Also, no idea if the same width reestriction to the 2000x1000 images.

If it does and there's adequate bandwidthe etc would it be possible to have restrictions on 1000 high OR 1000 wide. Cracked it that way.

Anyhoo- seems a good idea in principle- fast download of images and if ya want a closer look, click it up :notworthy)

Picture Dimensions changed
Max pixel size hosted by Ixxra = 2048w x 1536h

= Wrong

please check this link and tell me whats wrong with the forum, pictures are at 800 x 600 viewtopic.php?f=9&t=14678

= Correct If these pictures are off shore links
To use these pictures again use the [url] tags instead of the [img] tags to display as a link
or upload them to Ixxra to get better quality/size

Here's one for you using the functions available within the forum
Blackmagic Andy & Jill

A couple of points
bigger pictures take longer to load
My priority is to Ixxra not photobucket/other picture hosts
how much does photobucket cost for hosting?
how much does Ixxra cost for hosting?
which option gives the better qualty pics?

I need Tigger to help me out here...

Followed that Link Wobbs....errr, what am I supposed to see?...has it been differented made :P ..or the pics on the last page of that thread..y'know the hunnerds and hunnerds of pics been smallably made? :P ...Wha'eva....the pics on that last page were all fabby...the size was great.

Going back to when I used to moan about the pics being too big...I thought or was led to believe by peeps such as aj that I got my monitor settings wrong...never changed them cos it made the words too small for me and don't really know what I'm doing on a poota anyroad..I'm a fookin biker for fooks sakes..and a steelworker...fooking pixels etc does my 'ead in. So was it an issue with my monitor settings or what? I was convinced I was the tvat that got it wrong?...or is that still the case.?

Now you come up with geeky talk...it may give Extremist a stalker but it does fook all for me...1000x1200....one third available one third not....fookin Off Shore ? :-? ....go get a room you two..or can we have a Geek Pic Size Section....mebbe aj could Moderate it.....

I'm going for a lie down again....it's all getting too much for me....alter old pics? :-? .....Oooooer missus..... :D :D

Dunno how you got the patience Wobbs..... :notworthy) :notworthy) :notworthy)

And there it was GONE :shock) the pic size has pushed it to the bottom of his post

No your settings are fine Tim, aj has his settings higher for artwork 2048 x 1536 probably,
those settings reduce the forum.
