Exceeding login attempts

Postby Scruffygit » Sat Mar 12, 2011 1:54 am

The last few times I have tried to login I got a message telling me I had exceeded the maximum numbers of login attempts and had to enter one of those hologram type code thingys - sorry but I'm not a geek, where the on/off button is is about the limit of my computer knowlege.

It's throwing up this message even at the first login attempt.

Any suggestions what's happening because it's starting to get annoying.

Eliminate the impossible. Whatever remains, however improbable, must be the part you forgot to service.

Try clearing all your cookies and start again from the Ixxra website fro Ixxra nt page.

Only repeating what I've been told to do in the past. Fook knows why it works but it does for me.

:-?

Thanks Tim.

It only seems to effect certain computers, I'm on my laptop at the moment (in Canada for four weeks and the companies paying  ) and had no problems so far. The PC an a local i-cafe is where I'm having problems.

Ho Hum.

The cache is there to make your web pages 'load faster' It works by clearing out all the previously stored pages from your web browser, then when you visit the page again it loads up the page as it stands at the time you visit instead of some old version that was stored on your puter :thumbsup)

I always set my web browser to clear the cache every time I shut down my browser - cuz I can't be arsed clearing the cache every now and again :notworthy)
Sorted!
