Birds over North Wales 2016

Birds over North Wales 2016
Following on form the success of this years Easter(ish) outing Ian and myself are pleased to say we are repeating the experience next year on the weekend of 23rd/24th april with a few of us turning up at hotels in Llangollen from the Fri evening

The rideout will be broadly the same as last years but taking in a loop around Lake Vrynwy we had to miss as some people forgot to fuel up before leaving, a different route out of Barmouth, slight change through Ffestiniog and then a nicer run back to the Ponderosa via Ruthin

http://tinyurl.com/ponderosa-birds-2016-v1

The plan is to leave the Ponderosa at 11:00 sharp on the saturday

Lets see if we can beat last years total of 22 Birds

Seem to have missed this one this year :P Are you going next year Simmo ?? Ill be up for it
Fri - Sat night in Llangollen sounds good :thumbsup)

Anyone else going ??

OB's Birds over North Wales 2016

Postby Mister Majestik » Fri Nov 06, 2015 1:37 pm

Mr OB,

should a topic for this run be started on ixxra?

shouldn't it be kept on Bird/facebook, after all its their run,

they need to know who's turning up,

post up attendees on them there sites would be favourite :thumbsup)

Yes Mr MM it should , a lot of people on here are also members on Bird and often go on each others rideouts, ie Russ's Scottish Bash,
the Irish O Bash this year etc etc and vice versa. But I will inform Ian Robbo, Trippo and Grant just in case they dont see it here.. up to yet there are no
attendees on here that are going so no rush is there. :thumbsup)

Yes Tim we are fully aware of how you like to tour. :thumbsup)

Jono 49 Exactly :thumbsup)

mite be prudent not to clash the Borders dates with this seeing as it already a goer..
Posted it here because Tim said he was going to delete from the borders post. :thumbsup)

141 miles isn't much of a rideout.............Not by IXXRA standards anyroad :-?

As you and your hoppos have said, its not an Ixxra ride out , but what it is a xx ride out that 22 blackbirds attended early this year and was very successful. there was 1 Triumph but no tediums

We could be lured to attend with some class bikes! but not for such a short rideout, it woudn't be fair on the tedium as it likes to stretch it's legs 8)

To press, the only comment I have made on this thread IS relevant to it ( prior to this one in which I insist on the right to reply being as ya twisting stuff and casting nasturtiums again.)
