Rendezvous at Devils, and after a quick cuppa and bacon butty etc, we headed north to Barbon and turned right for Dent village for our first photo shoot....

Then with a bowel motion immenent we pressed on to Hawes with an impromptu photo shoot for the CARPE TDM calendar 2016 on the way
Then an arty farty one using jaunty camera angles..
Hawes served as a pit stop for calls of nature, fuel, and the essentials......

The local craft fair does nice tea and cakes, made with loving care by the nice lady serving that day.

Masham next where there was a "Sheep Fest" taking place, and very busy it was, with hardly any parking, so our stay was brief, before we hightailed it to Reeth via Leyburn

From here it was nearly non stop to Alston apart for a piss stop, where we had a quick Coffee and had a cracking run up Hartside with virtually no traffic things just flowed nicely and did it justic, no cafe open at Hartside at 6.30pm it was straight down the other side and warmed the brakes up a bit.....and Amazingly I stopped on
We departed company at Penrith and text each other when arriving home 256miles for me and well knackered but still smiling, a cracking bonus day at this time of year
