I hope no fekkas off any other Forums have been invited.

Well, not long to go and we're still entrenched in the 6th month of Winter and not one fekkin sign of improvement. Yesterday we had 4 hours of beautiful stunning Spring weather before it defaulted to our shite weather. Rain has been constant since then and today we have been blessed with added fog. A very drastic improvement must be seen before next Thursday otherwise I'm pulling out. I have had enough of this shithole. First "big " ride this year was with Cyclops last week; Newtown, mid Wales and back. From 3 in the afternoon it rained until home for 10.30. Never have I ridden for so long in such torrential rain and I have vowed never again, enough is enough. It has "killed my pig" and my appetite for riding rufty tufty has gone. Fook it and fook this country and its weather. I have had enough.

I am getting rid of my bikes and buying a campervan. This country and its climate is fukked. I've got maybe 10 more trips around the sun left in me and I'm fekkin well fekked if I'm going to spend 5 of the cnuts sat in the house with the twatting heating on full chat watching the rain run down the window panes.

The thought of riding around the Borders, with waterproofs on, heated clothing plugged in, constantly wiping my visor and with the GS stuck in 2nd gear so's not to overtake a lead rider wringing the neck of a fekkin 650 for fekks sakes, makes a visit to my local halitosisly challenged dentist quite attractive. :pullhair :pullhair :pullhair :banghead) :bigcry: :banghead)

Tim......its ok, that 650 will have had its first service by then so its a safe bet you'll be able to use 3rd gear.

And it also rains a lot in Germany if you cast your mind back about 18 months.

Empty vaccuous rhetoric Jono. It will be what it will be and on current form that aint good. Bluster and joking apart, I will not be going unless there is a drastic improvement end of.

Bluegas, the rain was in France on the Sunday afternoon and Germany Sunday evening. That was it, end of. You really cannot compare that to this barrel of British shite.

Anyrode, we'll see what happens eh and fingers crossed.

Oh so it's like that is it? Well I was only enquiring about Thursday and wether you were having a slow bimble through Yorkshire taking in a few beauty spots on the way seeing it looks likes the weather will be hospitable!.....or make progress to more northern areas and take in a few places of interest????????

I'll just book some work on Thursday and Friday and Turn up Saturday Then!

Fekk me another precious one. :banghead) . My "itinerary" is as I've said and in no more detail than that cos me, myself I don't know the fook what I'm doing other than that wot I've said.

No other coont has an idea either or if they have, haven't bothered to share it and this is the first mention you've made in 6 months of organising :roll) of meeting en route.

Not wanting to bore everyone by repeating myself, everything depends on the weather the day before. Bottom line is, I'll be in the bar at Moffat at 6 ish come what may.

For the hard of thinking, I wont be going to Corfu, the Nurburgring, Spain or Southern France, via Ferry or Chunnel..I will be going to Moffat in Scotchland on Thursday.

I don't see anyone else putting forward their itineraries. (for Thursday really) Its all very quiet out there

Historically i've ridden down to the likes of Pateley bridge to meet peeps heading North and come oop road with them! There's lots of pics on here as evidence of stopping here and there at beauty spots and places of interest and Pork Pie emporium's!.......I'm merely asking will it be more of the same on "THURSDAY"????????????

P.S. the weather is spot on!!!!!!!!

Well, its raining nicely now but at least the cold westerly wind is driving it off me ed.

After very little/ no deliberation, I will be heading up to Moffat Land on Thursday morning.. I'll be at Wetherby Services on the A1(M) at 09.00. if anyone wants to meet there (shout up)

Gonna get the Motorway/boring distance out of the way first. Get off at the junction above Scotch Corner for a full breakfast at Cafe68 on the A68. Thinking of A68ing it all the way up through Northumberland with coffee and cake break at that lovely caff me, Oldbull, Eric and Cyclops found last year. Across to Hawick then down to Moffat. Nice easy quick roads as , as much as I like twisties, they are tiring over a long day and I'm sure the Road Captain will have a smorgasboard of roads, twisties, tracks and fast roads for us on Saturday.

Sound O.K?

Anyone dont fancy it then see you at the bar.

:ride) :rockon)

(If it IS pissing down it'lll be waterproofs on , head down and motorway all the way) :bigcry:
