Barrie, let it go, this elecktrical stuff. Just let it fookin go. Ya retired now and ya Cert's are all out of date.

While you're here then and being as most peeps having been locked out of the Dark Side unless they pay money, ( even for accessing information such as Bird problems and solutions which were freely donated by donors from the past ), have fooked off to anywhere else (bar here :roll) ) how's Partimepilot these days eh?

I have lost track of the good peeps that may or may not be over there, although for my sins I"see" a few on FBook. I must admit, they seem to be changed personalities who have lost that spark. Poor old Lumpy for example, a shadow of his former self, no bile, no insults, no vile, foul language, just polite and helpful yet occasionally gentle sarcy comments. It's just not right. It's like they're all them patients in that Oregon Mental Hostipal with Jack Nicholson.

Oh what is the world coming to eh.

(Then a coont from a Crossdressing Forum sticks his head in . We're fookin doomed)

Regards to Neil Barrie.

Its good to waffle now and agearn, sorry.

I can see from the pic that you’re the most upright rider in the bunch –
obviously, yer doin' that ter stop' it from spinnin' up the rear- good onya! Image

At least you’re on the bike, not in a portaloo or waddever they call 'em – :roll)
- but how long ago was the pic taken? :eyebrows)

Just askin' as your Viffer1200 looks vastly different from others I’ve seen! :twisted)

Eric my dear old fellow

The old trick of quoting then altering the text is soooooooooo .....IXXRA c.1990"s

It's almost as dated as flared trousers, Ben Sherman Shirt, 3 week old Pepperami's, racing round the Nurburgring and hiding behind hotel bedroom curtains waiting to jump out on an unsuspecting target... you know who you are!

You really should know better LOL

Yes that is my CrossDresser (with me in the saddle) in the picture taken in Austria last year en route to the Stelvio. Mine's a 2013 DCT CrossDresser

However, as you have accurately spotted, the other bikes in the photo has been "'artificially inserted" - a term used by veterinary surgeons when checking Phylis Doris Prostate gland!

As for spinning up .... it this some knitting or macrame term?

Modern machinery nowadays have things like Traction Control (button shown below) that prevents such amateur practices happening.

Talking of which, remember when one would hit the kill switch - wait for 5 seconds - fire it back on and see how many sets of dentures the old wrinklies at the bus stop would spit out in sheer terror?

I also remember those juvenile antics

Twas always better at night cos sometime you could shoot flames out both the Bird's zorsts at the same time

Almost as old as AOL Chatrooms on a Sunday evening thick with plotting and counter-plotting

Happy Daze

Nowadays we have Twitter and FaceBook

The youngsters really have no idea do they?

Said Traction Control button below.

Hi, Tim,
Yes, I'm retired but friends and family wont let my tools go rusty.
Neil, Parttimepilot, is okay thanks. I'll tell him you were asking about him.
"The Dark Side" What a crock of shite that turned out to be. I catch up with Lumpy every now and again on the Pan European FB page.
I hope to catch up with you on some ride-outs this year so be warned, I expect you to moderate your speed so an old fart can keep up.
Take care.
