aldi were selling helmets the other week.... open face £15.00... full face £25.00.....
bargain..... both sorts had the EU certification markings too....

Anyhoo, £90 saved and it is a world class, all day comfy lid (especially now they do black visors for them which was a 'must' for me. One thing though, if you don't currently have a Shoei, I'd suggest finding a local dealer, try the Neotec on and note the size you need from experience. I remember changing from a Arai Quantum F to a Shoei Raid years ago and the sizing was very different.

This is probably a piss take question, but what the hell... If you want to eat/drink on a pissy day without taking your lid off and getting the inside wet... or buying petrol at certain places... or sorting passports in France/Spain/Europort... or asking for directions/chatting with folks at the roadside... or talking with the rider next to you at traffic lights (or anywhere else)... ventilation for a few minutes in towns/villages on hot summer days...
Truth is, why would anybody waste money on a full face helmet, when for an extra couple of quid, they can have one that's both
