Budgie Visit and Run 2016

Postby T.Murphy aka Tim » Thu Dec 17, 2015 12:23 am

Not put this in Rideout Section or even Events yet as its early days and no dates or owt decided.

But it looks like a visit from The Budgie is on the cards in 2016. Roundabout end of May early June. Obviously, it all depends on what Oldbull is doing. Hopefully, when his itinerary for next year is sorted he will let Budgie know , so that he can book his plane tickets.

Looks like we can have another Budgie Run, this time with the Budgie in attendance. I am assuming it'll be a two nighter away somewhere.

Just a heads up at this stage. :ride)

Budgie is probably on a very tight schedule. He isn't coming to the UK to visit us. He and his missus are visiting Europe mainland, then UK to visit family. He will be squeezing in a quick visit to Sheffield. His time with us will again be limited plus his heavy schedule before and after his visit to us will mean any massive mileage days on end riding will just not be possible.

As I say in the first post Jono, he ain't booked the fekkin tickets yet, so nothing is nailed on yet.

Even funnier is our resident Mister Fekkin Meldrew already moaning about venues BEFORE any actual venues suggested. lol

You on the blob again Dave? 8)

Now that is the best proposal youve made all year Jono, Looks like Rich wont be able to make it this time but we could
always put a trial run together for him on his behalf ... :wink)

Can we have it open for discussion and throw a few options around in a new thread maybe ??

see who would be interested and who wouldnt ??

Such masterful command and poetic articulation of the English language from The Budgie eh? Fookin "yummo" to describe one of Scotlands finest :pullhair . Fookin "yummo" indeed. :banghead)

I did think there was a slim chance of a rideout? but it now looks like he's on a real flyer, and a quick snifter at a distilery at Aberlour (Beware the new drink driving laws in Scotland) is among his plans, I questioned Aberlour as a place to have a ridoute through or to? as it's nowt special, and before you start with the personal insults ya big Coont, and there's been a few this year, and a few snide remarks about riding techniques etc also, Wind yer neck back in! as alway's it's been a bit cryptic on this thread with info about what's happening for definate....so why bother posting the thing in the first place?????????
